Hummus Spread

Ingredients:

  1. 16 ounce can garbanzo beans, strained
  2. ½ cup liquid from garbanzo beans
  3. 3 Tbs sesame tahini
  4. 1 ½ Tbs olive oil
  5. 1 tsp lemon juice
  6. ½ tsp finely minced garlic
  7. ¼ +⅛ tsp salt
  8. ¼ + ⅛ tsp citric acid (found in canning section of any grocery store)
  9. ¼ tsp ground white pepper (may substitute ⅛ tsp black pepper)
  10. ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth (add extra water as needed to aid in the blending).
