Ingredients:

  1. 2 ½ cup walnuts, ground
  2. 2/3 cup whole wheat flour
  3. 1 tsp salt
  4. 1/3 cup flaxseed meal
  5. ½ cup + 2 Tbs maple syrup (OK to substitute agave)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Mix ingredients in order given.
  3. Drop by 2 Tbs onto oiled cookie sheet.
  4. Flatten with fork.
  5. Bake 10-15 minutes.
  6. Cook partially, remove carefully to cooling rack.
