- 1 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 4 cups fresh frozen unsweetened berries
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon, or to taste
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 cup arrowroot
- 1/4 cup apple juice concentrate
- 16 whole berries, for garnish
Preheat the oven to 350F. Lightly oil an 8-inch square baking pan. In a blender or food processor, grind the oats into a coarse powder. Combine the ground oats and remaining ingredients (except the berries for garnish) in a large bowl and mix well. Spread the batter into the pan. Decorate the surface with 16 evenly spaced berries. Bake until firm, about 35-45 minutes. Let cool, then cut into 16 squares with one berry topping each.
