  1. 7 cups red cabbage, thinly sliced
  2. 1/2 cup carrot, julienned (cut into long strips, similar to match sticks)
  3. 1/2 cup snow peas, julienned
  4. 1/4 cup canola oil
  5. 1/2+ cup lemon juice (to taste)
  6. 2 tbsp soy sauce
  7. 1 1/2 tsp ginger root, minced
  8. 1 tsp granulated white sugar


  1. Combine the cabbage, carrot, and snow peas in a large salad bowl and set aside
  2. To make dressing, combine the rest of the ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid and gave it a good shake
  3. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss it all together
