Shake in a jar:

  1. 1/3 cup lemon juice
  2. 1/3 cup Bragg liquid amines or soy sauce
  3. 1 tsp onion powder
  4. 1/4 cup olive juice from can of olives
  5. 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Place the following ingredients in a covered bowl:

  1. 8 cups finely chopped kale (remove thick stems)
  2. 4 green onions, sliced
  3. 6.5 ounce can sliced black olives
  4. Pour marinade over kale, onions, and black olives and marinade at lease one hour (this will keep several days if you need to make ahead)

Just before serving, add the remaining ingredients:

  1. 1/3 cup raw sunflower seeds
  2. 3/4 cup diced tomatoes
